He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Lollis Thompson; and his son William Wesley Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee McConnell Thompson; his son Aaron Wetzuel Thompson (Hillary) of Greer; his stepchildren, Michelle Ross Nimmons (Jonathan) of Laurens and Jeffrey Rose of Greer; his grandchildren, Chandler Hutcheson, Maddox, Parker Thompson, Jessi, Jacob Ross and Samantha Nimmons; and his great grandchildren, Brylie Ross and Jenny Higgins.

Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
