He was predeceased by: his parents, Y. H. Vickers and Annie Wilson Vickers. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Johnson Vickers; his children, Bruce, Derrick, Darryl Vickers, Vonne Vickers and Sharon Angelos; and his siblings, Earl Vickers, Mary Mahalah and Sarah Minigun. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
