She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woodrow and Ruth Virginia "Bobbie" Sexton McDonald; and her sister Sandra Malone. She is survived by: her husband Terry Smith; her granddaughters, Mallory and Maranda; her children, Richard Brown, Joshua Smith (Brandi) and Reagan Vann (Carey); her grandchildren, Allee Smith, Aubree Smith and Melody McGee; her siblings, Martha Furr, Doris Miller, Connie McDonald and Jerry McDonald (Susie); her children, Mallory, Maranda and Latena Boyd; her pets, Junior, Bella and Cardi; and her brother-in-law Ricky Smith.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
