He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Joanne Walton; and his parents, Grady James and Florence Inez Walton. He is survived by: his children, James Grady Walton, Hubert E. Walton, Sr. (Katie) and Linda Williams (Chris); his stepdaughters, Sheri Ann Murphy and Terri Ann Aderholt; his grandchildren, Hubert Walton, Jr., Christian Walton (Lauren), Joshua Walton, Leila Ober, Shelby Nixon, Brooks Williams, Brystol Williams, Madison Williams and April Joanis; his great grandchildren, Emma Lee Walton and Linkin Ryan Walton; and his brother-in-law Danny Woodward (Angie).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Napier Funeral Home & Crematory (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery.
