He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph Durwood and Ethleen Nunn Chapman; his brother Christopher Beard; and his stepsiblings, Jimmy Hewitt, Jr. and Lisa Hewitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Jean and Jennifer Beard; his sister Karen Bell (Marty); his stepsister Susan Hayes (Alan); and his grandchildren, Joey and Jayden Beard.
