She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Hatcher and Wilbur Hatcher; her siblings, Jerry and JD Hatcher (late Marion Fulmer); and her husband Marion.
She is survived by: her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Mary Jane; her grandsons, Brett and Kevin; and her nieces, Lisa Hatcher Hudson (Todd), Gwin Hatcher Morse (Larry) and Natasha Hatcher Wise.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent, in honor of Shirley, to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte NC 28201.
