She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Sherrill and Maude Whitehead Sherrill; and her siblings, Clifton, David, Dickie Sherrill, Barbara Eubanks and Shirley Tollison.
She is survived by: her husband David Pearson; her children, David L. Pearson (Debra), Larry "Neal" Pearson (Tina), Deborah Hall (Richard), Cynthia Melton (Tony) and Rose Storey (Louis); and her sisters, Patsy Lowe, Virgie Detter and Judy Harley. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great – great grandchildren.
