She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Shafer and Norman Shafer; her husband Mariano Chavarria; and her brother Harry Shafer. She is survived by: her children, Michael Chavarria (Wendy) of Paso Robles, CA and Alicia Horton (Howard) of North Augusta, SC; and her siblings, Jeff Shafer, Jimmy Shafer and Becky Meadows. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 10 Great-grandchildren.
