With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Smith Moody of Graniteville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2022 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Bennett, Jr. and Ida Mae Widener Smith. She is survived by: her husband Donald O'Neal Moody, Jr.; her children, Jessica D. Moody Buckingham, Joshua O. Moody (Crystal D.), Zachary A. Moody, Teri L. Moody and James Ian Moody; her siblings, Theresa, Fred Ennis, Veronica and Bob Honick; her grandchildren, Greenlie Elise Moody and Aubriegh Mae Buckingham; her daughter Theresa Eleanor Moody; her siblings, Keith Smith and Cynthia Smith "Cindy" Kirk; her nephew Benjamin Ennis; and also, Kip Smith and Jason Fields.
Melissa had requested that memorials in her memory be made to Colontown (http://www.colontown.org) or the American Cancer Society. (http://www.cancer.org).
