She is survived by: her husband Billy Wells; her children, Billy Mark Wells, Phillip Dewayne Wells, Angela Wells Johnson (Brent) and Cynthia Diane Britt (Randy); her siblings, Rev. Harold Burkett (Brenda), Rev. Bobby Burkett (Glenda), Sara Burgess (Calvin) and Margie Perdue (Halvey); her stepsiblings, Jimmy, Ray Preston and Martha Lee; her brother-in-law Adrian Wells; and her grandchildren, Alexis Johnson and Kendall Diane Wells Church. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In consideration of the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, all who attend the funeral are asked to observe social distancing and follow state and local guidelines.
