He was predeceased by: his brother Jack E. Cox; and his niece Deborah Nicole Cox White. He is survived by: his son Marvin Erran Cal Cox (Kelly); his mother Margaret Powell Whitmore; his sisters, Kim Askren (Tim), Robyn Maxwell (Paul) and Janet West (Jerry); his close friend Susan Powell; and his nieces and nephews, Koby Maxwell, Hunter West (Kate), A. J. West, Timothy Askren Sr. (Katie), Wyatt West (Valerie), Tyler Maxwell (Amy) and Victoria Campbell (Wesley).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
