Margie Rutland Williamson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 93, Margie Rutland Williamson (Graniteville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Rutland and Minnie Lee Holley Rutland; her children, Wanda Sue Williamson, Marla Lee Williamson, Kathy W. Taylor and Henry E. Williamson, Jr.; and her siblings, Harvey, Roy, Harold Rutland and Emmie Zadell Wilson.

She is survived by: her daughter Gail Lucas; her grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Tracie), Brandi Brookins, Krystal Graham (Joey), James Taylor (Meredith), Melinda Potter (Amon), Christopher Williamson (Amanda) and Brandon Williamson (Anna); her son-in-law James Taylor, Sr.; and her nephews, Buck Wilson, Terry Wilson and Harvey Rutland, Jr..

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
