He was predeceased by: his wife Sybil Ann Irick Ready. He is survived by: his children, Malcolm M. Ready, Jr. (Marlo), Douglas Ready (Mona) of Seattle and Stephanie Barron (Wayne) of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, Jos'I Rains (Devon), Shannon Murrell and Jean Bergman.
