She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Ludbrook Burnett; her son Charles Michael Burnett; and her parents, Jessie Gordon and Bessie Yonce Thompson. She is survived by: her son Otis "Don" Burnett (Pam); her sister Mary Bell of Marion Rushton; her grandchildren, Allen Reece, Erin McFadden (Rob) and Adam Burnett (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Malon McFadden, Aubrey Reece and Cason James Burnett; her niece Beverly Rushton (Clifford); and her nephew Pat Bell (Melody).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ms. Burnett's memory.
