She was predeceased by: her siblings, Nancy Boyd, Melvin Hammer, Peggy Haley, Doug Hammer, Brenda Robinson and Kenneth Hammer; and her parents, Millard Thurmond and Laura Kathleen Hill Hammer.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Tanner, Sr.; her children, Deborah Martin (Bill) of Aiken, Kimberly McCormick (Tom) of Fort Mill, Robin Fulmer (Steve) of North Augusta and Robert Wesley Tanner, Jr. (Melissa) of North Augusta; her sisters, Vicky Elliott (Brett) of Shelby and Martha Morrison (Bobby) of Concord; her grandchildren, Daniel Martin, Adam Martin, Kyle Hughes and Brayden Tanner; and her great grandchild Kayelin Hughes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene (3526 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene building Fund in her memory.
