He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Russell and Vallire Kennedy Busbee; his daughter Nancy Busbee Gehrke; and his sisters, Joyce Busbee Timmerman and Helen Busbee Yaun.
He is survived by: his spouse Laree Thompson Busbee; his children, Lloyd Russell Busbee, Jr. (Ginny) and Delphia Busbee Benhardt (Carl); his sister Frances Busbee Davis; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Busbee, James Busbee, Peggy Busbee Felton, Laree Benhardt Trussell, Carla Benhardt Finiguerra and Richard Edwards. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
