He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Green Ready; his parents, Willie Ready and Bonnie Owens Ready; and his siblings, Cecil, Grady "Lindy" Ready and Gertrude Ready Sheppard.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne West (Greg); his granddaughters, Ashley Nelson (Jon) and Krystale West; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Nelson, Macey Nelson, Jaxon Hill, Reece Hammond and Zoe Hammond.
