He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Holston Clarke; his parents, Roland Clarke and Laney Jacobs Clarke; his son Quincy Davis; and his siblings, Carolyn Holmes, Margaret Harrison and Larry Clarke.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Griffin of Augusta, GA, Robin Kimberly Clarke of Augusta, GA, Margaret Clarke Bryant (Lamon) of Locust Grove, GA and Dr. Holly Clarke Williams (John) of Greenville, SC; his siblings, Bernice Adams (Charles) of Augusta, GA, Lee Campbell (Allan) of Statesboro, GA, Jack Clarke (Betty) of Waynesboro, GA, Jerry Clarke (Amy) of Midville, GA, Racheal Clarke of Statesboro, GA and Alonzo Holmes (late Carolyn Holmes) of Statesboro, GA; his grandchildren, L. J. Bryant, Micah Bryant, Madison Bryant, Landon Bryant, Jamari Griffin, Jessica Reed, Joshua Hamilton, Jayna Davis and Constance Hammonds; and also Jane Davis (late Quincy Davis) of Steamboat Springs, CO.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (2648 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
