He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Gunter and Emmette Langford Gunter; and his siblings, Brenda Gunter and Dwayne Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Geni L. Gunter; his nieces and nephews, Ashley Brown, Allison Friar Dorn, Melanie Blosser, Kim Wilson, Justin Brown (Shannon), Jared Friar, Mark McGee and Jason Wollam (Deborah); his great-nieces, Caidyn Brown, Carley Guill and Bailynn Friar; his great-nephew Branson Friar; and his brother Harvey Gunter.
