He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas and Ila Pauline Anderson Godbee; and his siblings, Billy Gerald Godbee and Carrie Jane Page. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dudley Godbee; his children, Christopher Godbee of Saluda, SC, Wayne Owens (late Cheryl) of Clearwater, SC, Mark Owens (late Pam) of Edgefield, SC and Tammy Frazier (Marc) of Aiken, SC; his sisters, LaRose Neal (late Marion) of Clearwater, SC and Judith Willene Johnson (Giles) of Prosperity, SC; his grandchildren, Nicole Burke, Michelle Owens and Jacob Turner; and his great grandchildren, Chesnee and Connor Burke.
