He was predeceased by: his brothers, David, Danny and Dale Ham; and his parents, Percy Patterson and Opal Hughes Patterson Ham.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Robinson Patterson of Graniteville, SC; his children, Dewayne Patterson of Belvedere, SC, Jenifer Frederick (Timothy) of Blountville and Bridget Anderson (Robbie) of Graniteville, SC; his sister Donna Redd (Joey) of Clearwater, SC; his grandchildren, Morgan Gibson (Brandon), Morgan Anderson and Brayden Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Gaven Gibson and Journee Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
