She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Cook and Barbara Cook; and her daughter Angie Fields. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Lewis; her children, Dale Lewis, Michelle McLeod (Chris) and Annette Rushton (Richard); her brother Glenn Cook (Linda); her grandchildren, Steven Lewis (Bentli), Eliza Lewis, Amber Lewis, Samantha Ferguson, Gabriel Ferguson, Cami McLeod, Austin Fields, Brittany Wilson, Ellen Rushton, Nataile Rushton and J. C. Rushton; and her great grandchildren, Brookelynn Wilson, Brayden Wilson, Idella Berry, Bowen Lewis and Landry Lewis.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in her memory be made to Women Working for Christ, 101 Granite Dr. Graniteville, S.C. 29829.

“i have known Karen for a very long time. Our husbands use ot play softball together at Gregg Park. We would all have a great time.. I know she was a great mom and wife. She has a awesome family,, My heart breaks for this sweet family.. I know Karen is so much better off than us because she is in heaven where i know she was ready to go.. She just sent me a Scripture on Wednesday 1 Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf..”
