She was predeceased by: her father Lonnie Redd; her husband Herbert Watkins; her siblings, Alonzo Redd (Roberta), Lucille Enloe and Evelyn McGahee (F. X.); and her brother-in-law L. C. Scott.
She is survived by: her mother Nellie Redd; her sons, Don Watkins, Wyman Watkins (Courtney) and Wallace Watkins; her siblings, Wilbur "Buddy" Redd, Dorothy Scott, Geraldine McDaniel (Sonny) and Barbara Togneri (Mike); her brother-in-law Harold Enloe; and her grandchildren, Erin Rader (Joey), Holley Owenby (Brent), Caroline Floyd (Aaron), Brandon Watkins, Brett Watkins, Rylan Watkins and Keaton Watkins. She is also survived by her family and friends.
