He is survived by: his children, Joseph L. Key III, Vickie Nettles (Frank), Angie Woodward (Dan) and Sherrie Pitts (Phillip); and his siblings, Chester Key and Margaret Robertson. He is also survived by one grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
