He is survived by: his wife Frances Logan Brown; his children, Joseph Buster Brown III (Robin) and Rhonda Yvette Scoggins; his grandchildren, Madalyn Blandenburg (Josh), Roy Scoggins, Morgan Gaines (Tripp), Amy Sandefur and Meredith Brown; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Brown, Wyatt Gaines and Waylon Gaines.
