She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Griffis; her parents, Joshua "Doc" and Juanita Hodges; and her siblings, Enoch Gillard, David Hodges and Donnie Lou Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Griffis, Joshua Griffis (Sarah) and Terry Watson; her siblings, Rudy, John Hodges, Drucilla Melton, Bonnie Thornton, Debra Daniels and Ann Herrington; her grandchildren, Meagin, Ryan, Maggie, Alexis and Cameron Griffis; and her great grandchildren, Conner and Serenity. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
