He was predeceased by: his wife Ninette Whitlock; his parents, Willie Wade and Helen Jenkins Whitlock; and his sister Barbara Jean Baker. He is survived by: his children, Jason Whitlock (Dalal), James Brantley Whitlock and Emily Kneece (Kenny). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
