It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Irene Stephens Carr (Graniteville, South Carolina), who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James G. Carr Jr.; and her parents, Louie "Bill" and Mildred Stephens. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Donna Stephens; her children, Gary L. Carr (Tamara), James Carr III (Jane), Pamela Deep Adkison (Todd) and Kimberly D. Baucom (Todd); and her siblings, Johnnie Stephens (Joan), Gray "Butch" Stephens, Arthur Stephens (Peggy), Bill Stephens and Gail Stephens Campbell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations in Jessie's honor be made to either the Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Breezy Hill Baptist Church.
