He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Junior and Frances Marie Lilly Canaday; and his siblings, Ethel Burgess, Janet Johnson and Jackie Canaday.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jennings Canaday; his children, Michelle Crawford (Donnie) of North Augusta, SC and Jesse Freeman Canaday, Jr. of Aiken, SC; his siblings, J. C. Canaday (Diane) of New York, Katherine Bowling of Lorraine, OH, Junie McKinney (Donnie) of McArthur and Georgia Williams (late Ron) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua Ray Lee, Damon Greg Coon, II (Jessica), Jazmine Celeste (Brandon) of Washington and Josalynn Brianna Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Leigha Jayne of Washington, Damon Greg Coon, III, Layton Elyse of Washington and Rowen Kai Elaine Coon.
We will be practicing social distancing and masks are requested.
