He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyrone Mayson and Rose Hutto Maddox; his stepmother Judy M. Mayson; and his siblings, Andrew "Clyde" Mayson and Angie Hardee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Mayson, Tyrone Mayson (Denise), Jamie Mayson (Michelle), Chris Mayson (Denise), Johnny Mayson, Dale Mayson (Stacy), Jimmie Hardee (Tammy), Rev. Eddie Hardee (Carol), Sarah "Bunkie" Plaster, Connie Thurmond and Kristie Turner (Travis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
