Jean C. Boyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean C. Boyd (Graniteville, South Carolina), born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Lester Boyd; her parents, Mahlon Ray Clark and Mae Bodie Clark; her brother William Clark; and her son-in-law Russell Gunter.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. C. Clark Boyd and Leslie B. Gunter of Graniteville; her grandsons, Andrew Gunter (Lisa) of Madison, MS and Zachary Gunter (Amanda) of Martinez, GA; her great grandchildren, Judah Gunter and Asher Gunter of Madison, MS.; her siblings, Thelma Duncan (late Jack) of Aiken, Rachel Chavous (late Bostick) of Augusta, GA and Sidney Clark (Myrtle) of Aiken; her sisters-in-law, Grace Clark (late William) of Tacoma, WA and Shirley Corley (Kyle) of Graniteville; and also, Jackie Duncan, John Clark, Russell Boyd, Dr. Richard Boyd, Christopher Corley and Kenny Joe Boyd. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers friends are encouraged to make memorial donations to Gideons International, which distributes free copies of the Bible around the world.
