He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Curtis and Ella Scott Carpenter; and his siblings, Marion "Buddy", Gene Carpenter, Kathleen Boyd and Donnel Thompson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gwendolyn White, Joyce Boyd and Dale Hall; and his nephew Darrel Hall.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, the family will not be present to receive visitors.
