He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Wilson Sanders; his parents, Bennie Lee Sanders and Bernice Viola Clark; and his son Roger Dale Sanders. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Sanders (Lynn) and Ricky Sanders; and his siblings, Elaine Proctor, Bobbie Jean King (Roy) and Peggy Cumbee.
