She was predeceased by: her spouse R. L. Booth; her parents, Grover Payton and Cora L. Payton; and her children, Johnny Scott and Patsy Scott Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Lillie M. Scott, Noah L. Scott (Margaret) and Grover E. Scott, Sr. (Sarah); and her siblings, Olan Williamson, Shirley Rushton (Nathaniel), Ruth Perdue and Virginia Payton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
