He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James William Hawthorne and Myra Tew Burch; his wife Kaye Cox Hawthorne; his sons, Christopher Hawthorne (Jenna) and Michael Hawthorne (Kristyn); his brother Derrell Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Henry and Annabelle; and his siblings, James, Linda and Carolyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
