He was predeceased by: his parents, Tylon Watson and Rachel Carney Watson; and his son Jeffery Watson. He is survived by: his children, Franklin D. Watson (Cecelia), Marlys Yvonne Lenhart (David), Vickie Lynn Van Vactor (Ron), Beverly Gayle Rapp (Mike) and Rebecca "Becky" Louell Chavous (Dan); and his sister Bessie Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
