With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Della Bass (Graniteville, South Carolina), born in Burnettown, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Della left this world on March 7, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walton and Jennie Mae Thompson Foster; and her siblings, Johnny Foster, Barbara West, Joyce Grice and Martha Murray.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Dale Bass, Sr.; her sons, Richard Bass, Jr. (Donna) of Portland, TN and Roy Lee Bass of North Augusta, SC; her sister Patsy Bush of Charlotte, NC; and her grandsons, Christopher Bass, Alek Bass and Caelen Bass.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene (3526 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mary Dalle Fund C/O the Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene.
