He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Annette "Ann" Wood Reames; his siblings, Freddie Reames (Brenda) and Carolyn Hardy (Jimmy); his children, Sherri Griffin (Ray), Randy Reames (Shelia), Jeffrey Reames (Suzanne) and Lisa Sanders (Dewey); and his grandchildren, Lesli Bolick (Daniel Griffin), Jessica Luke (Jana Weathers) and Dylan Boyette (Josh Reames).

Memorials in memory of Charles may be made to the Moody Bible Institute which he faithfully supported.
