She is survived by: her children, Joy Groomes Arangilan of North Augusta, SC, Ashley Groomes (Melissa) of North Augusta, Kevin Burgess (Kelli) of Crestview and Michael D. Burgess (Jennifer) of Jackson, SC; her sisters, Gail Brown of Alabama and Carolyn Dyson of Waynesboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Bayne Burgess, Shyler Burgess, Kevin Burgess, Jr., Maddie Burgess, Hunter Burgess, Devin Burgess, Kirsten Brown, Brianna Brown, Meleah Curtis, Raymond Groomes, Jr. and Camdyn Groomes.
