He was predeceased by: his parent Earnest Proctor of Howlandville, SC.; his children, Larry Gene Proctor and Hailey Proctor; and also, April P. Thompson (Morgan), Trevor Thompson, Madalyn Thompson, Kevin S. Proctor and Elton Proctor (Shelby) of Gloverville, SC..

He is survived by: his parent Christine Proctor of Howlandville, SC.; his daughter Bobbie P. Hilton (Charles); his granddaughter Rachel H. Turner (Neal); his great grandchild Lorelai Lilli Turner; and his siblings, Julian Proctor (Verna Mae) and Ernestine Taylor North (late John) of Gloverville, SC.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
