He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Griffith and Flossie Stevens Griffith; his brothers, Joe Griffith, Edward Griffith and Jerry Griffith; and his nephew Charles Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Erniss Dean Griffith; his children, Tammy Brewer (Wesley) and Glen Griffith; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Ruth Brewer and Ruth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midway Baptist Church and to Camp Rise Above, a nonprofit organization specializing in helping children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and challenges; where his granddaughter Ruth has attended for several years.
