It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Mitchell of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clayton James Mitchell and Marjorie Baker Mitchell; his brother Roy Mitchell; his wife Lynn Hutto Mitchell; his children, Becky M. Cox of Summerville, Allie Wilson (Joe) of Buna, TX, Carrie Rodriguez (Carlos) of Bluffton, SC and Steve W. Mitchell, Jr. (Stacey) of Marietta, GA; his brother Jimmy C. Mitchell (Susan) of Franklin, TN; his sister-in-law Debbie Mitchell of Evans, GA; and his grandchildren, Lauren Cox, Katelyn Cox, Henley Mitchell, Isla Mitchell, Sadler Mitchell and Sadie Wilson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
