He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Woodrow Petit and Elizabeth Vonder Leith; and his son Stacey Lee Petit. He is survived by: his granddaughter Adalyn Ann; and his children, Paige Mizell of Goose Creek, Stephen Petit II of Harrisburg, Mark Smith of Goose Creek, Paul Smith of Goose Creek, Bidd Smith of Moncks Corner, David Smith of Goose Creek and Michelle Cummings of McKinney Texas.
