She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Allen and Mary Sue McDowell Allen. She is survived by: her children, Mary Pulwarty (Renwick) of Savannah, GA, Valarie Udeh (Chuk) of Charlotte, NC and Otis C. Harris Jr. (Nicolette) of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Regina, Faith, Chidera, Amara, Kendall and Griffin; her great grandchild Madison; and her siblings, Barbara Cooksey and Theodore McDowell. She is also survived by her parents, husband.
