It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Lacheney of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovie Braden and Ruth Braden; her brother Bruce Braden; her sister-in-law Elfreda Braden; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Lacheney (Nathan).

She is survived by: her husband Curley J. Lacheney, Jr. of Goose Creek; her sons, Brett Lacheney (Robin), Craig Lacheney (Casey) and Nathan Lacheney (Grace); her grandchildren, Ariel Ramon, Jacob Lacheney, Braden Lacheney, Stephen Siter and Keith Berry (Lapita); her great grandchildren, Jak Lacheney, Amaya Ramon, Lupita Berry, Matthew Sookikian, Joshua Sookikian, Hannah Hood, Ashley Belisle and Aileen Hood; her brother David Braden; her sister-in-law Georgia Braden (David); her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Hammerstein, Maria Braden, Michael Braden and Robert Braden (Laura); her great-nephews, Zachary and Andrew Braden; and also Adilyn Braden.

She tirelessly cared for her family, once sent stamps to inmates so they could send letters home to loved ones and donated regularly to the Kidney Foundation.
