She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert (Jesse Mae Middleton) and S. C.; her siblings, Emma Jane, Betty, Capers, Ellison, John Allen and Marion; and her grandparents, Sarah and John Ford.

She is survived by: her niece Lana L. Davis (Benjamin, Jr.) of Goose Creek, SC; her great-nephews, Darian Brown of Ladson, SC and Yasair Antwon Brown of Tampa, FL; her great-niece Chanell Brown of Goose Creek, SC; her sister Hermena Myers; and her former husband Samuel Eady.

Sarah believed in missionary work and participated in community outreach assisting in soup kitchens and collecting clothes for donations.
