He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Sr. Johnson and Georgieree Johnson (Hutchison); his wife Mitzi Johnson (Jones); and his sister Carolyn Malphrus. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Smith (Donald) of Rincon, GA and Sheryl Fillman of Goose Creek, SC; his close friend Sandra Breland; his sister-in-law Syble Hollingshead of Ridgeland, SC; his grandchildren, Alex Smith, Jennifer Fillman, Samuel Smith, Carey Vines, Sarah Fillman, Katlyn Bocen and David Gillian; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Max, Wendy, Skye, Paisley, Conner, Michael John, Nolan, Carson, Gracelyn and James.
