Dawkins of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Dawkins and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Dawkins; his sisters, Dorothy Radcliffe and Maggie Edwards; and his grandchildren, Joseph Richard Schneider and Brenda Lynn Temple.
He is survived by: his children, James Dawkins of Goose Creek, Carolyn Dawkins of Goose Creek, Sybil Dawkins (Charleston), Mary Schneider (Irven) of Hanahan, Terrie Turner (Derrol) of Goose Creek and Tracie Robertson of Hartsville; and his sisters, Ann Jones of Summerville and Margaret Williford of Whitmire. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
