He was predeceased by: his father Robert Thomas; his brother Keith L. Nelson, Sr.; his grandmother Lucille Gourdine; his great-grandparent Isabelle Lee; and his cousins, John Staley and Jasmin Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Zuri Nelson; his children, Nyla Nelson and Zora Nelson; his mother Myrtle Nelson; his siblings, Rictasha Nelson, Malique Lee (T'eara), Ralph Gourdine, Raymond Nelson, Shelton Hamilton, Jr. and Muhammad Nelson; and his nieces and nephews, Kingston Nelson, Ayder Campbell, Graysun Hamilton, Trinity Mobley, Maliyah Lee, Zalika Battin and Isabella Nelson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Church of God in Christ (302 Jeffs Cir, Goose Creek, SC 29445).
