She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Mack Hammond; her siblings, Lillian H. Prioleau, Herline H. Addison and Don M. Hammond, Sr.; her children, Marcia L. Hammond Theirse (Curtis) of Summerville, SC and Jamar T. Hammond of Columbus, OH; and her grandchildren, Samuel "Sam" Theirse, Sydney Theirse and Symeon Theirse.
She is survived by: her mother Henrietta T. Grant Hammond of St. Stephen, SC; her sisters, Dorothy H. Richardson of Columbus, OH, Georgia H. Roberts (James) of Columbus, OH and Barbara H. Gilliard (Joe) of Pineville, SC; her aunts, Ethel H. Barr (Charles) of Columbia, SC, Audrey P. Grant of Columbus, OH, Pastor Emmie P. Grant of St. Stephen, SC and Ruth Grant of St. Stephen, SC; her sisters-in-law, Annette W. Hammond and Kimberly P. Hammond; and her close friends, Sammie Malard and James Starks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
